Training will be conducted virtually from your home. This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday to Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 7:00am – 10:00pm CST and rotating shifts for Saturday’s 8:00am - 5:00pm CST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends. Our office is located at 6200 NORTHWEST PKWY, SAN ANTONIO, 78249 and 3803 N ELM ST Greensboro, NC 27455.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and supervise daily/weekly/monthly activities of a team members
  • Set priorities for the team to ensure task completion and performance goals are met
  • Coordinate work activities with other supervisors, managers, departments, etc.
  • Identify and resolve operational problems using defined processes, expertise and judgment
  • Provide coaching, feedback and annual performance reviews as well as formal corrective action

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma / GED (or higher) OR equivalent years of work experience
  • 2+ years of supervisory/leadership experience
  • 5+ years of experience analyzing and solving customer problems in an office, claims or customer service environment
  • Experience with Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications
  • Ability to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 7:00am - 10:00pm CST and rotating shifts for Saturday’s 8:00am - 5:00pm CST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime
  • Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement of this role. UnitedHealth Group will adhere to all federal, state and local regulations as well as all client requirements and will obtain necessary proof of vaccination prior to employment to ensure compliance.

Telecommuting Requirements:

  • Reside within San Antonio, TX or Greensboro, NC
  • Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
  • Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
  • Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of supervisory/leadership experience
  • Call center experience
  • Performance Management Experience

Soft Skills:

  • Ability to multi-task including the ability to understand multiple products and multiple levels of benefits within each product

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $43,200 to $76,700. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $47,700 to $84,400. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
