In this role you will have the opportunity to run a bio skills lab inside a divisional headquarters. You will interact with brand new and experienced sales reps, marketers, surgeons, and engineers. You will have responsibility over budgets, autonomy to make improvements, and to lead people. What you will do

Responsibilities:

  • Develop relationships with Marketing, Sales and International leadership to address needs to execute impactful educational programs
  • Develop relationships with key opinion leaders/Stryker Consultants to deliver Stryker product training in bioskills lab
  • Conduct needs assessment with Marketing, R&D and Sales to determine equipment and HCP proctors needed for upcoming product training needs
  • Manage calendar of events with stakeholders to ensure events are planned and executed in a timely fashion
  • Partner with Marketing to develop and implement bioskills training curriculums for spinal procedures for HCP’s and sales professionals
  • Budget management: Maintain and track spend and present quarterly leadership meetings
  • Continually review internal processes that maximize efficiency and enhance the quality of our programs
  • Spearhead quarterly business reviews with cross-functional partners to share best practices, conduct needs analysis and solicit feedback
  • Self-directed creation of a development plan and utilize on-going formal and informal training opportunities to further develop skills and talents, maintain product and procedural knowledge and expand business acumen
  • Successfully complete Stryker Spine’s formal product training programs
  • Oversee and manage all lab learning activities/events including lab preparation, breakdown, clean up and ordering.
  • Lead and delegate roles and responsibilities of support staff to ensure objectives and regulatory/quality standards are met
  • Manage lab staff including work assignments, performance reviews, and coaching
  • Inventory Management
  • Workshop equipment/kits
  • Do Not Implant (DNI) inventory

What you need

Education & special trainings:

  • Bachelor’s degree required

Qualifications & experience:

  • 4+ years of work experience required
  • 2+ years medical device, medical education, or cadaver laboratory experience preferred
  • Interpersonal and relationship management skills / ability to work independently and in collaboration: team oriented/ verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal communications skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
