Primary Responsibilities:
The state started a crisis program and they want the Crisis Service Liaison to educate providers and those in the community about the crisis services.

  • Support day to day operations of team as subject matter expert for department
  • Review staff member assessments and collaborate with medical peers to determine appropriate levels of care
  • Assess and interpret customer needs and requirements
  • Manage escalated concerns/cases to resolution
  • Coordinate with community resources, including, but not limited to, law enforcement, emergency departments, Statewide and regional crisis coalitions, dispatch call centers, and emergency management service organizations personnel, to expand the crisis response.

Required Qualifications:

  • Licensed Master's degree level clinician in: Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or Marriage & Family Counseling; OR Licensed Ph.D. or Licensed PsyD; OR an RN with at least 2 years of experience in behavioral health
  • Licensure must be current in the state of Louisiana
  • Ability to travel up to 30-50% of the time. Some travel may require overnight stay
  • Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential job function of this role. Candidates located in states that mandate COVID-19 booster doses must also comply with those state requirements. UnitedHealth Group will adhere to all federal, state and local regulations as well as all client requirements and will obtain necessary proof of vaccination, and boosters when applicable, prior to employment to ensure compliance.   • Experience in discharge planning and/or chart review
  • Experience in inpatient/acute setting or outpatient setting
  • Excellent customer service skills
