Overview:
Global Clinical Trial Operations (GCTO) is a global organization with over 3,800 people operating in 47 countries, responsible and accountable for the execution of the our clinical research portfolio. The Medical Writing Department of the GCTO organization prepares a variety of regulated documentation in support of the clinical development portfolio, for example, documents to support individual clinical trials (such as Protocols and Clinical Study Reports) and documents to support marketing approval (such as Summaries of Clinical Efficacy and Safety).
Interested in changing the way content with documents is designed, analyzed, and traced in research studies, across studies or development programs? The Content Steward performs support services as a specialist in providing white glove customer service to InteliNotion users. Support includes guidance, tool support, word support, and process support. Additionally, you would contribute to continuous process improvement, education, and training of structured content management (SCM) and tools. You will learn the tools, SCM concepts, and. You will be part of a diverse, cross-functional team of individuals who execute and report on our clinical trials and provide SCM process and tool support. In this fellowship you will be exposed to the upcoming ideas of Structured Content Management with the Pharmaceutical industry by participating in the analysis of content design requirements, understanding and detailing the flow of information, integration points, authoritative sources, and the contextual relationships between content in business use context and our SCM tool. You will operate within a global team embarking on global development, implementation, training, education, and support. Your skills can immediately add value.
Your Fellowship Project
You will participate with team members to join the deliverable opportunities and their customer support activities. You will learn the content of documents, skills, and tools for support.
The intent of the fellowship is to:
- Develop a vocabulary and process for Pharmaceutical Research Study operation, Drug development Develop and, Structure Content Management
- Develop an understanding of how Structured Content Management is being implemented at our company and contribute during your fellowship to our Goals for SCM
- Allow for participation in selected support tasks and in team meetings to develop an understanding of the different skills and expertise needed for delivery of Structured Content.

- Familiarity with Life science and health terminology is a plus
Primary Work Site/Schedule
- On site locations Rahway, NJ; Upper Gwynedd, PA; Boston, MA; or Remote
- Monday-Thursday (Core hours: 9:00am - 4:00pm flexible start and stop)
