RSAs are also responsibleforservicing aircraft lavatories,potable water,pushback aircraftfrom thegate,deicing and other duties as delegated.The RSA positionis asupportservices positionwhose work routineis established andfollows asetof procedures.Itgenerallyfunctionsunderclose supervisorydirectionor guidance ofthe Customer Service Reps, Supervisors, or Ramp Managers.**Responsibilities:**+ Marshall aircraftontheramp(includes directing, assisting and parking all arriving, departing andtowed aircraft)Service aircraft as neededincluding:- lavatory service- water service- cabin cleaning- other services as needed+ Aircraft de-icing / anti-icing+ Crew shuttle+ Loading and unloadingof aircraft baggage and cargo+ Perform safe andefficient operationsof allground service equipment+ Responsibleformaintaining safety and security of aircraft+ Miscellaneous duties as assigned**Qualifications****Minimum Qualifications:**+ Be atleast 18yearsofage+ Must bewillingtoworkininclementweather+ Good communicationskills+ Must be a U.S. citizen or show proofofrighttoworkintheU.S.+ High School graduate orGED+ Abilityto lift 60poundscomfortably+ Abletofluentlyread,write, speak and understandEnglish+ Abilitytowork understressful situations andtighttime constraints in a fast-paced environment+ Self-motivated,team player+ Requiredtowork nights,weekends, holidays,andvarying schedules+ Successfully completeabackgroundinvestigation,including FBIfingerprints,criminal history andpre-employmentdrugtest**Desired Qualifications:**+ Prior Ramp Service experience+ De-ice Service experience+ Forklift Operator+ Possess a valid Drivers License preferred**Language Skills:**+ Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.+ Write routine reports and correspondence.+ Speak effectively one-to-one and before groups of customers or employees of the organization**Math Skills:**+ Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.**Reasoning Abilities:**Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram form.Deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.**Physical Demands** : Moderate.The RSA on occasion may lift or move (with help) up to 200 pounds, and/or more frequently lift or move 60 pounds. RSAs are regularly required to use hands, talk, hear, bend, climb, stoop, kneel, stand and walk.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to focus.RSAs routinely work outside for a portion and are exposed to all types of weather conditions.The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can vary dramatically depending on location and time of day.
