IntroductionSystem Services Representatives are the primary technical interface to clients for the coordination of hardware and software support and delivery of operational services. You will advise clients of preventive maintenance, configuration, operation and environmental factors which may drastically impact product performance or impair the client's IT operation.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesYou will be the primary technical interface for IBM's clients in identifying and resolving hardware and code or OS related problems and operational issues. Together with the team, you will be responsible for customer satisfaction in problem determination, problem source identification, problem resolution activities and in providing account support in assigned areas.Your Roles & Responsibilities:+ Serve as clients' primary contact and ensure customer achieves benefits from its IT operations through remote and onsite support+ Provide maintenance, repair and servicing work on IT systems and (i.e. servers, storages) for clients across industries+ Manage and provide advisory support for client accounts, conduct periodic preventive maintenance and health checks+ Engage in clients' discussions on planning and operations work+ May participate in new client projects on relocation of equipment, machine installations and configurationRequired Technical and Professional Expertise+ Bachelor in Engineering or related field of study+ Proven capabilities and relevant experience in managing multi-vendor products and services+ Technical know-how: Theory of Electronics (Digital & Analog (low current)), Wintel Servers and Peripherals, Power Servers and Storage Subsystems, Networking and Open System Software.+ Strong communication, problem solving and stakeholder management skills+ Ability to work independently and prioritize assignments+ Available for stand by/ 24 x 7 shift+ English and Greek fluentPreferred Technical and Professional Expertise-About Business UnitAt Global Technology Services (GTS), we help our clients envision the future by offering end-to-end IT and technology support services, supported by an unmatched global delivery network.
