These proprietary tools help clients implement high-quality solutions faster.7Summits, an IBM Company, is a Salesforce Platinum-level Consulting Partner, a two-time recipient of Salesforce Venture funding, and is recognized by industry analysts and observers as a standout digital solutions provider.Position OverviewThe Platform Developer role is a critical part of the 7Summits delivery model, working closely with Technical Architects, Technical Leads, Back and Front-End Developers and a cross-functional team to implement and launch a working technical solution that meets or exceeds client expectations and ultimately drives business value.Successful individuals will be able to effectively operate in a fast-paced environment, utilizing communication and critical thinking skills in combination with their Salesforce platform and technical expertise to drive the success of their projects.Your Role and Responsibilities+ Responsible for all SFDC platform configuration development on projects - user/profile setup and role hierarchies, customizing objects, fields, record types, page layouts, formulas and validation rules, creating custom Lightning pages and apps, etc.+ Create and manage complex workflow rules, data validation and triggers.+ Assist in solutioning, estimating, and shaping technical solutions.+ Document system configuration, workflows, and field/data maps.+ Adhere to best practices for SFDC processes, data governance, administrative process, and user adoption.+ Maintain client and project team contact to review solution creation and implementation; provide support as a primary POC and resident expert; assist in the development of reusable assets.+ Effectively communicate solution options, along with pros and cons, to non-technical business stakeholders.Required Technical and Professional Expertise+ 1-3+ years of experience Salesforce Admin or Development experience.+ Strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionalities.+ Experience working on an Agile-based cross-functional project team.+ Practice with Salesforce communities, especially Lightning.+ Salesforce Administrator Certification+ Great interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.+ Collaborative and consultative work style.+ Strong written, verbal and presentation communication skills.+ Proficient in Google G-Suite or Microsoft Office.Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise+ Additional Salesforce Certifications (Advanced Admin, App Builder, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Community Cloud, etc).+ Development experience with APEX classes, triggers, unit tests, Visualforce pages, and Lightning components to support application build.+ Experience using git-based version control with Salesforce metadata.+ Experience managing deployments using Changesets, Ant scripts, and IDE-based deployment tools.+ Experience delivering Portals/Communities on the Community Cloud platform.About Business UnitIBM Services is a team of business, strategy and technology consultants that design, build, and run foundational systems and services that is the backbone of the world's economy.
