Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Senior Consultant, Customer & Marketing, Commercial Excellence & Enterprise in Dallas, Texas and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You'll Do

Develop and maintain project deliverables for all phases of the software development lifecycle to substantially build system functionalities. Create test cases and perform functional, non-functional, system integration, black-box, white-box, and end-to-end testing of software applications. Design and implement sales and service experiences, capabilities, and architectures required to bring customer strategies to life. Synthesize overall operations strategy by analyzing a wide variety of business solutions. Select the most relevant tools/techniques to meet specific client requirements such as business case, pricing, or complex financial analysis and interpreting and reporting on outputs. Participate in setting engagement objectives and scope, develop work plans for components of engagements, coordinate activities between workstreams and identify changes in scope. Participate in various aspects of the full software development lifecycle for software applications, which may including requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations and urgent issues. Evaluate clients' technology needs, develop customized applications and draft technical and functional design documentation. Identify and mitigate risks in process and technology for client engagements. Function as an integrator between business needs and technology solutions, helping to create technology solutions to meet clients' business needs. Define systems strategy, develop system requirements, design, prototype, and test custom technology solutions, and support system implementation. Develop dashboard wireframes and design requirements based on discussion with an understanding of technical and visual design considerations. Research user reported issues with software applications, identify root causes and resolutions, implement fixes, and liaise between business functions, end users, and technical delivery teams .

  • 80% travel required nationally.

Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (Any), or a related field and two (2) years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Must also have two (2) years of related work experience involving each of the following:

  • Designing user stories and determining acceptance criteria utilizing Application Lifecycle Management Tool (ALM) in order to document business requirements;
  • Assisting with operational process flows and solution designs utilizing Application Lifecycle Management Tool in order to help the business understand new process flows;
  • Designing and implementing the requirements in Sales Force Dot Com (SFDC) by configuring and customizing applications utilizing SFDC Data Loader, Application Exchange, and SFDC IDE, in order to allow the business to oversee the business processes, implement process changes and modify organization realignments;
  • Designing and coordinating end to end User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycle using testing tools including Application Lifecycle Management Tool in order to create User Stories, Test Cases, and Test Results;
  • Modifying existing Sales Force Dot Com (SFDC) case management, case standard layouts and processes to accommodate change requests utilizing SFDC Data Loader and SFDC IDE to implement small configuration changes and quick wins; and
  • Designing and developing feasible solutions for client application requirements utilizing HP Quality Center and Application Lifecycle Management Tool (ALM).
