Positions in this function provide sales support and administrative services to non-employee sales producers such as broker agents, field marketing organizations, and independent contract agents. Ensures proper completion of contracts, marketing agreements, and documentation of sales targets. May administer programs and monitoring to ensure compliance with external agent credentialing and training requirements. Acts as internal liaison and customer service resource for external producers relative to enrollment and policy questions, systems issues, and coordination of materials fulfillment. As one aspect of broader support role, may manage administrative aspects of commission payments such as routine tracking, reporting, and troubleshooting issues relative to missing or disputed payments.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates, supervises and is accountable for daily/weekly/monthly activities and performance of team members
  • Coordinates work activities with other supervisors, managers, departments, operational sites, etc
  • Identifies and resolves operations problems using defined processes and process improvement techniques
  • Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion and performance goals are met, such as Quality, Adherence, Service Level and AHT
  • Provides coaching and feedback to team members including formal corrective action and performance improvement plans
  • Conducts quarterly performance reviews and weekly side-by-side monitoring sessions as well as one on one sessions
  • Provides expertise and customer services support to agents and customers
  • Handles escalated issues as they arise
  • Coordinates, supervises and is accountable for the daily activities of business support, technical or production team or unit
  • Impact of work is most often at the team level

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of experience as a Supervisor or Team Lead
  • 1+ years of experience in a Sales Support Call Center Customer Service role
  • Experience utilizing Microsoft Word (create and edit correspondence), Excel (create and edit spreadsheets), and PowerPoint (create and edit presentation)
  • Ability to work a flex schedule between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm CST Monday through Friday (Weekends are required at various times of the year)
  • Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential job function of this role. Candidates located in states that mandate COVID-19 booster doses must also comply with those state requirements. Colorado Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $54,400 to $97,000. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
