What You Will Do:
Coordinates all aspects of training labs with sales, marketing and other departments including lab scheduling, specimen ordering, lab prep and tear down. Participates in lab training when needed.
Develops and maintains a working knowledge of company products and instrumentation. Maintains adequate inventory of lab supplies and marketing support materials needed to run successful training labs.
Maintains lab equipment maintenance schedules and coordinates with outside vendors for service calls. Orders, tracks and reports tissue and shipping expenses and allocate costs across business units.
Develops and maintains effective and positive working relationship with outside vendors & independent lab necessary.
Conducts site inspections of cadaver labs, hotels and space for the mobile lab when
Negotiates pricing, processes invoiced for tissue and lab vendors maintaining department budget. Ensures that all charges are correct and that all invoices are processed and paid on time.
Researches, understands and adheres to regulations governing medical lab activities. Collects, organizes, and submits all documentation required by compliance
Drives efficiencies, consistencies and implements process improvements related to execution of on site or in field skills labs.
What You Will Need:
Working knowledge of policy and procedure regarding handling of cadaveric tissue
Understanding of musculoskeletal system, medical terminology, joint and muscle assessment, orthopedic OR instrumentation
Familiar with a variety orthopedic educational practices, and procedures
Must have good presentation, communication and organizational skills
Associates degree in Biology/Laboratory/Science or other related field required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
3+ years lab related experience.
