Summary:

The Omni-Channel Digital Training Curriculum and Effectiveness Associate Director will be responsible for strategy, development, and delivery of omni-channel capabilities training and curriculum to maximize learning effectiveness and operational scale across commercial. Serve as the leader of this group to establish and curate global and localized training assets and delivery frameworks.

This individual will be the responsible for establishing the Digital Technology Training team and evolve it as a Center of Excellence (COE) across omni-channel capabilities and application technology training programs (e.g., Veeva InterAct, HCP Connect, OneLook etc). Will lead and coach a team of program managers who will engage with the markets to provide access and deliver global training programs that develop Commercial employees’ knowledge, skills, and behaviors across technologies, skills, and products.

This individual will also be responsible for alignment to the WCC Content Strategy, vendor management (e.g., content development, translation, delivery), and contractor sourcing and conversions. The Omni Channel Digital Training Associate Director is a member of the Omni-Channel Digital Training Capabilities and Operations leadership team and will need to develop and execute strategic objectives, impactful and cost-effective learning strategies, and collaboration on strategic initiatives and partnerships with peers across the commercial organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acts as a strategic business partner across Commercial to provide innovative and flexible training solutions that expand market reach and services to address unique market needs.

  • Provides strategic partnership and advisory as a key contributor during WCC Training initiatives. Establishes the Program Manager’s role within those initiatives for strategic advantage and efficiencies.

  • Proactively identifies innovative learning solutions to create and drive global frameworks that scale for dynamic scope and future initiatives.

  • Partners with internal training and market engagement groups to establish clear roadmaps and corresponding execution plan based on business priorities.

  • Hires, onboards, manages, evaluates, and coaches Program Leads who aligns and advocates the match between learning solutions and unique market needs.

  • Develops training plans that leverages skills and resources and drives efficiencies.

  • Develops Program Leads’ capabilities to adapt quickly to changing business needs and market expectations, create and communicate enabling solutions for change, and establish resourcing models that will execute those solutions.

  • Leads the Center of Excellence (COE) for Omni-Channel Training Capabilities, defines its strategic objectives, best practices, and services, and develops and executes its learning strategies, governance, processes, tools, and resources.

  • Evolves the COE’s capabilities across virtual, modern, and adaptive learning models and solutions.

  • Creates learning program centered communications and marketing campaigns for new & existing content, and global programs.

  • Manages the COE financials and vendor relationships across markets

  • Architects new and innovative learning solutions in collaboration across the Digital Training organization, including the integration of content and measurement capabilities maximized through platforms.

  • Provides efficient and predictive pathways to existing programs’ content / curricula and delivery options.

  • Develops program maintenance and sustainability strategies.

  • Partners with vendors to fulfill learning programs’ requirements and drive efficiencies.

  • Manages the training program financials and vendor spend to drive efficiencies.

  • Drives cross-Commercial collaboration and sharing resources/initiatives to minimize duplication, maximize efficiencies, increase speed to delivery, and improve measurement of impact.

  • Ensures measurement approaches are defined and established per learning solution; harvest, measure, analyze, and draw actionable insights from learning effectiveness insights.

  • Ensures dashboards are created for new initiatives, maintained for ongoing initiatives, and deliver quarterly metric reports.

Skills and Knowledge Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree

  • Minimum of 8 years learning and development background with strategic management experience

  • Expert understanding of commercial business and its value drivers

  • Strong experience in leading global teams, implementing coaching models, global training programs targeting commercial sales and marketing

  • Demonstrated ability to successfully hire, develop, motivate, mobilize, retain, and lead a team and cultivate a healthy and productive team environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to coach employees for career pathing.

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize business needs and make timely decisions based on available data.

  • Proactive and creative strategic thinking to identify and address current and future challenges.

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with multiple matrix teams to achieve business objectives.

  • Demonstrated ability to define and execute group’s business objectives as aligned to Digital Training organization objectives.

  • Experience of engaging, communicating with, and managing diverse internal, WCC, and global stakeholders.

  • Proven ability to present to and influence senior leaders.

  • Experience in successfully implementing a global model at the Market-level and managing a global capability and or COE model.

  • Demonstrated ability to partner, manage and lead strategic initiatives with vendors.

  • Proven ability to align Program Managers and WCC stakeholders and partners to make critical decisions and demonstrated strength in facilitating discussions, presenting information, and having a solutions-oriented mindset.

  • Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills, and proven program management experience.

  • Reasonable understanding of adult learning principles and experience in learning design, training delivery, and the learning and development industry’s trends, models, practices, and resources.

  • Salesforce & Commercial experience preferred.

  • Pharmaceutical or Medical device industry experience preferred.

  • Ability to travel approximately 20% of the time
