Work you'll do

  • Support development of overall Higher Education strategy and capabilities framework
  • Advise teams on Firm annual financial planning process and how Higher Education backlog and pipeline feed into account and sector plans
  • Liaise with the sector Chief of Staff and OP Chiefs of Staff around investments, sponsorships, and other matters as needed to ensure alignment with sector and OP investment strategies and priorities
  • Plan and execute in-person HE PMD leadership meetings (pre-COVID)
  • Monitor financial performance (revenue, profitability) of our overall HE practice
  • Manage end-to-end investment process (funding requests, budget and allocations, reporting)
  • Support pipeline analysis for capability leaders (e.g., Cloud ERP, Strategy)
  • Support high-priority proposal efforts, including writing, reviewing, deal review preparation; develop and maintain practice descriptions, client lists, and other frequently-requested materials for proposals
  • Support gathering of PMD goals and metrics data as needed
  • Collaborate with GPS Learning & Development and the HE People Officer team to plan and execute trainings and learning events
  • Lead and advise the communications team (monthly Need to Know newsletter and monthly Higher Ed Community of Practice call)
  • Advise the People Officer team on planning events and initiatives
  • Advise the Brand Strategist and GPS Marketing on practice-wide marketing and communications materials
  • Work with conference leads to secure sponsorships and plan booth/presentations/social events as needed
  • Support promotion of eminence pieces within the practice
  • Enter vendors and association relationships into TPRM Gateway
  • Work with QRM and OGC on pursuits as needed
  • Serve as an advisor to the practice on how to navigate the firm's risk and compliance processes and systems

Organization Transformation can occur at the enterprise, business unit, or functional level, involves both employers and providers across the Human Capital ecosystem, and requires a combination of change management actions to execute the transformation.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 10 years of professional consulting experience in the higher education market
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role
  • Travel up to 80%
  • Due to COVID-19, certain on-site client work has been suspended until further notice, however, on-site work may be required on a case-by-case basis for this position.


Preferred:

  • Leadership experience in strategic planning for industry markets
  • Experience with ERP OCM engagements in the Higher Education market
  • Big 4 Consulting experience
