EG-100 Manager, Training - GI Immunology

(Internal/XFE and External)

The Home office training manager will work with Marketing, Sales Management and various matrix teams to develop, collaborate and implement key learning initiatives that support the overall Immunology Brand and Sales Strategic Training Plan. These initiatives include planning POA meetings, regional meetings, new hire training, virtual meetings and live meetings etc.

The Associate Manager will report directly to the Associate Director of ZEPOSIA GI Training and Talent Development.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead the development and delivery of sales competencies that include disease state/clinical/product, business planning and selling skills training
  • Manage the training component for each POA meeting, including design, development of content, execution and evaluation.
  • Collaborate on key product launch initiatives with the internal team including Legal, Promotion Compliance, Medical, Marketing and Sales Management.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the new hire training curriculum for the ZEPOSIA GI Sales Force.
  • Provide feedback and coaching to sales representatives during training sessions and field rides.
  • Develop continuous metrics to ensure that established training goals are achieved.
  • Some travel is required approximately 20%-30% for field rides and sales meetings.
  • The position is located in the Bristol Myers Squibb Lawrenceville, NJ site (PPK)


  • Minimum of four years of sales experience with a strong sales and behavioral performance history.
  • Candidates who can demonstrate training or coaching experience are preferred.
  • Strong product and disease state knowledge in the gastrointestinal space.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with matrix teams (Medical, Legal, Marketing, Promotional Compliance, Operations)
  • Basic knowledge of adult learning principles and learning design.
  • Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills, and proven project management experience.
  • Effective facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Power Point, Word, Outlook and MS Teams.
