Our business helps support their way of life and contributes to the survival of a culture that has thrived in a challenging environment._* * This position is contingent upon contract award* * _** Job Summary: ** The UDUTM supports mobility and deployment requirements, and conducts training andmanages and maintains equipment and supplies needed to perform these functions. The UDUTM manages, conducts and coordinates installation and tenant and mission partner Emergency Management (EM) training and EM personnel training using ARIS software IAW AFI 10-2501 and AFMAN 32-1007. The UDUTMis also responsible for the accounting and deployment of logistical items and equipment for Air Force operations. The deployment manager acts as a liaison between other Air Force units that have mobility designations for health assessment of troops and individual medical readiness databases to ensure that unit troops have updated immunization records.**Responsibilities:** Essential functions of the position include:+ The UDUTM serves as the primary liaison to branch/division/group leadership, and wing training functions regarding deployment related issues.+ The UDUTM performs Unit Deployment Manager duties outlined in AFI10-403 Deployment Planning and Execution, AFI10-210 Prime Base Engineer Emergency Force (BEEF) Program, AFGSC supplements, and the Installation Deployment Plan.+ Within three (3) months of arrival, the UDUTM will ensure that deployable PASCODE assigned Airmen or tasked civilians have correct AEF Indicator assigned, have AF Form 4005 initiated, and have minimum mandatory items in Air Force Deployment Folder IAW AFI10-403 Deployment Planning and Execution, AFI10-210 Prime Base Engineer Emergency Force (BEEF) Program, AFGSC supplements, and the Installation Deployment Plan.+ The UDUTM will ensure that within six months of arrival on station, deployable PASCODE assigned Airmen are scheduled for initial or reoccurring CBRN practical and Self Aid Buddy Care practical training, and small arms qualifications. Initial and reoccurring training is scheduled IAW AFI10-403 Deployment Planning and Execution, AFI10-210 Prime Base Engineer Emergency Force (BEEF) Program, AFGSC supplements, and the Installation Deployment Plan.+ The UDUTM ensures that a minimum of 90% of newly arrived personnel are scheduled for initial and reoccurring training requirements within six months of their arrival.+ The UDUTM performs Unit Training Manager duties outlined in AFI 10-403 Deployment Planning and Execution, AFI 36-2651 Air Force Training Program, AFGSC supplements, and the Installation Deployment Plan.+ The UDUTM compiles/analyzes training statistical data for Government review by the 10th duty day of January, April, July, and October IAW AFI36-2651 Air Force Training Program. After Government review is complete, the UDUTM forwards this data to the base training manager within two (2) duty days.+ The UDUTM performs Unit Level Prime BEEF Manager duties as outlined in AFI10-210.+ The UDUTM prepares the unit Resource Readiness, Capabilities Readiness, and Air and Space Expeditionary Force Reporting Tool reports and Mission Essential Tasks with assistance from functional subject matter experts in accordance with AFI 10-244, AFI 10-201 and applicable command supplements.+ The UDUTM ensures that within six months of arrival on station, assigned 3E8X1 Airmen (E-6 and below) are scheduled for the following initial or reoccurring training: Classified Courier, Deployed Equipment Custodian, Shippers Declaration for Technical Experts, Increment Monitor, Weapons Courier, Cargo Courier, Cargo Prep, Pallet Build-up, and Small Arms. Trained Airman are appointed after training. Initial and reoccurring training is scheduled IAW AFI10-403 Deployment Planning and Execution, AFI10-210 Prime Base Engineer Emergency Force (BEEF) Program, AFGSC supplements, and the Installation Deployment Plan. As a minimum, 90% of newly arrived personnel must be scheduled for initial and reoccurring training requirements within six months of their arrival.+ The UDUTM compiles/analyzes division Total Force, by-law, security, OPSEC, and Prime BEEF training status data by the 10th duty day of each month and reports the data to the Base Civil Engineer no later than the last duty day of each month as part of the monthly status of training briefing.+ The UDUTM coordinates Formal Technical Training Courses for the division.**Skills:**+ Has a complete and thorough knowledge of applicable Federal, DOD State, and Local laws, regulations, and guidelines issued by DHS, DOD, FEMA, EPA, OSHA.+ Has a complete and thorough knowledge of applicable directives such as Homeland Security Presidential Directives (HSPDs) related to emergency management and the National Incident Management System (NIMS).+ Is certified as an instructor IAW AFI 10-2501 and AFMAN 62-1007.+ Has the ability to analyze and resolve issues.+ Has the ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing using various formats, styles, and methods. Must speak fluent English. Has the ability to professionally brief large groups of military and civilian personnel.**Qualifications****Minimum Qualifications:**+ Must have a minimum of two years experience working as a Department of Defense Unit Deployment Manager (UDM) or four years working as a Department of Defense Unit Training Manager (UTM).+ Must complete all Air Force and locally required training within six months from date of hire.+ The UDUTM must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.The duties and responsibilities listed in this job description generally cover the nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position.
