We are hiring 50 sales roles immediately and more than 300 by 2025 to add to our already >1000 strong sales force. We need a sales training specialist to help our sellers take our Brightlayer and Everything As a Grid offers to market.The sales training specialist will have four primary areas of focus: Create (or adapt globally created) digital software/product/market training materials for EMEA Delivering training to enable Eatons sales teams to effectively sell digital offerings Create (or adapt globally created) sales skills & competency training to support seller productivity & effectiveness Managing a competency framework & learning path for Eaton sellersLearning solutions will be delivered through instructor-led, virtual instructor-led & eLearning sessions using a systematic approach of needs-analysis, course design, professional development progression, implementation and outcome evaluation.The preferred location is within driving distance of Eaton Warsaw or Gdansk although Eaton internal applicants will be considered from any EMEA location.Key Responsibilities:You will be required to create, maintain and update training materials including instructor-led, virtual instructor led, train-the-trainer PowerPoint presentations, as well as other segment focused learning materials. Where required you may be expected to train sales staff on how to use client (PC, application) technology to enable them to sell effectively.You will be skilled & experienced in turning product training into sales training including development of selling tactics, sales messaging & deal strategy.You will be responsible for in person and virtual class administration, preparation & delivery, including but not limited to developing a training plan, scheduling, set-up, enrolment, travel, demo equipment, activity materials, courseware, assessments, evaluation, and follow-up.Organisational structure:You will report to the EMEA Sales Training manager but have a strong functional relationship with the Global L&D Program Manager for Digital Sales Development. You will also work closely with segment marketing & sales leaders, business unit product managers & country sales/marketing teams.In these partnerships you will identify and develop strategic initiatives to launch & enhance the learning program based on a common global offer but modified as needed for the EMEA region and EMEA go-to-market strategy. You will ensure the learning program is effective, supports business strategy, improves communication and enables growth while supporting Eatons financial goals and strong values and ethical standards.Other responsibilities: Take a proactive approach to developing a formal or informal community of local T3 (train the trainer) trainers so that your content can be delivered at scale in multiple languages You will additionally work with the Global L&D teams to consult on ways to continuously improve the training program both in terms of sales training content, and methods of delivering that content Provide regular feedback to key stakeholders, achieve program metric goals, track program data, compile reports and actively seek cost saving and productivity improvement opportunities Offer interactive courses that meet learning objectives to sell and support electrical products and services in the digital product market segment QualificationsBasic qualifications: Experience in sales training, facilitation, instructional design, and adult learning principals, minimum 5yrs Minimum 3yrs experience in software, SaaS or intelligent technology services Bachelors degree from an accredited institution Highly IT literate (both user applications & market technology) Fluent Polish & English, other languages highly desired International travel may be required (estimate 25%) Preferred qualifications: Extreme personal curiosity, self-starter & experienced in agile working. Confident working in rapidly changing landscape with changing priorities and willing to expand role beyond the initial job title. Experience in the electrical industry Sales experience having carried a personal quota or managed a team of quota carriers Knowledge of & experience with enabling sellers to achieve sales goals Has detailed technical knowledge and project experience with intelligent hardware & software products and an ability to quickly learn new products applicable to the Industrial, Utility, Commercial Building and Datacentre market segments 5+ years experience in multi-national, multi-cultural B2B environment selling through multiple business models direct, indirect, Account Management, OEM, services).
