Teacher
The Department of Children and Families, Office of Education has an immediate need for a Teacher at the Cherry Hill Campus.
This position executes the lessons and educational experiences of the assigned pupils, class or classes; performing these duties exercising independent judgment and with a comprehensive knowledge of department rules, regulations, and policies; at some departments/agencies, may function as a short-term substitute for a Teacher, 2 and 3; does related work as required. This position will be located in Cherry Hill, NJ.
Please note that schools within OOE have a 12-month school year.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION: Possession of a valid Standard Certificate issued by the State Board of Examiners of the New Jersey Department of Education with an endorsement in subject area(s) determined appropriate by the Appointing Authority.
SPECIAL NOTE: Possession of a valid NJ standard certificate, Certificate of Eligibility with Advanced Standing or Certificate of Eligibility in any subject area OR a valid Substitute Teacher certificate issued by any New Jersey County Office of Education may be substituted for the valid standard certificate.
NOTE: Ability to physically lift, move and position students as needed.
LICENSE: Appointee will be required to possess a driver’s license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle, rather than employee mobility, is necessary to perform the essential duties of the position.

SALARY: $48,531.07 - $68,387.05
