Support Engineer

As a Level 2 Support Engineer you are going to be part of the Product Support team that maintains good client relationships by assisting and managing technical issues related to our quality engineering products.

Work you'll do

You will have calls with customers to assist them on issues quality engineering products. As a Level 2 Support Engineer, you will assist the Level 1 Support Engineers with a deeper knowledge of the product and methodologies to resolve issues.

You will be responsible for managing a queue of issues and providing responses and resolutions in a timely manner. You will review the issue, troubleshoot, and provide updates.

You will also compile any code/bug fixes needed, and connect with the product development team to inform them of the issue and changes required, when applicable.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years experience in Java, Spring, and Database
  • 3-5 years experience with troubleshooting and debugging ( Java debug, browser developer options debug, basic performance evaluation, application configuration management, server management)
  • Understanding of basic networking
  • Understanding of ticket management systems, preferably JIRA
  • Customer service and support experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
