The expected annual salary range for this role is $77249.97 - $113299.96 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

The Davenport facility has 750+ (340+ bargaining unit and 400+ salaried employees) and is leader in in the design, development, manufacture and delivery of aerospace mission systems components, systems and services to the US defense and commercial global aftermarket and OEM markets. World Leader in Air to Air Refueling technology

What you’ll do:

• Develop and integrate software on embedded C and C++ products following established software development standards and processes.

• Support the design and development of embedded software solutions for electromechanical systems

• Support project team activities related to the specification of requirements, software implementation, test case development, verification test execution, test environment, and certification support.

• Strive to consistently produce superior results, keeping project milestones on schedule and contributing to a positive work environment.

• Desire to successfully work in a team environment, establishing collaborative relationships with coworkers in person and through technology.

• Develop understanding and maintain proficiency in technical areas and standards related to assigned projects.

• Maintain accountability for all assigned work, provide accurate estimates on work to complete, and provide descriptions of work completed.

• Communicate status of ongoing work internally within your team and to leadership where appropriate.

• Actively participate in team meetings and troubleshooting project issues.

• Understand debugging tools and techniques to identify and resolve errors.

Qualifications:

Basic (Required) Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Software Engineer from an accredited institution.

• Minimum of 3 years of software engineering experience.

• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.

• This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. “Green Card Holder”), Political Asylee or Refugee.

• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within 70 miles of the Davenport, IA facility will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 8 – 10 years’ experience in software engineering with full lifecycle experience

• Comfortable working with C, C++, C#, or python

• Experience in D0178 compliance

• Knowledgeable in embedded and multi-threaded environment development.

• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision or as a part of a team.

• Able to work harmoniously within a team environment.

• Strong requirements development experience.

• Understands Requirements based testing development.

• Ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks.

• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities.

• Understand the importance of following procedures currently in place.
