Eatons Commercial & Residential Distribution Solutions Division is currently seeking a Lead Electronics Engineer to join our team! This position will be based at our Moon Township, PA facility.The Lead Electronics Engineer will perform both analog and digital electronic circuit design, for products related to our Commercial and Residential Distribution Solutions Division.Making what matters work at Eaton takes the passion of every employee around the world. Its where bold, bright professionals like you can reach your full potentialand where you can help us reach ours.In this function you will:+ Lead electronic hardware development for circuit protection devices.+ Lead the design of analog and digital circuits, including power supplies, signal conditioning, and microprocessor support circuits.+ Stay abreast of market trends and emerging technologies globally, with a particular emphasis on embedded and connected systems, and evaluate their potential impact on Eaton business.+ Research and develop business case(s) in new product development cycle to understand viability of proposed products in the marketplace.+ Drive enhancement of existing products and services based on evaluations of existing and new technologies per Eatons strategic plans.+ Represent Eatons interests on councils and committees tasked with developing codes and standards for emerging technologies in which Eaton is investing.+ Perform technical evaluations of electrical components and assess opportunities to develop partnerships or and new suppliers.+ Lead domestic and international project teams assigned to research, design, develop, test and/or launch new innovations; ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.+ Lead product certification activities acting as the Eaton representative- UL/CSA/.+ Act as a technical advisor to product line managers and/or manufacturing engineers throughout the ProLaunch process.When we embrace the different ideas, perspectives and backgrounds that make each of us unique, we as individuals and as a company are stronger. QualificationsRequired (Basic) Qualifications:+ Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering from an accredited institution+ Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical/electronic product development+ Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.+ No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered.
