Eatons Controls division is currently seeking a Sr Equip Test Engineer to join our team. This position is based at our Reynosa facility.The Sr Equip Test Engineer is responsible for testing the products produced in the plant according to the specifications and standards of Engineering, Quality and/or Clients.Making what matters work at Eaton takes the passion of every employee around the world. Its where bold, bright professionals like you can reach your full potentialand where you can help us reach ours.Some activities related with the position will be:+ Develops electrical and mechanical testing with the products according to the requirements and standards of Engineering, Quality and/or clients.+ Trains and monitors technicians to develop tests on products+ Collaborates with other departments to develop a team in order to solve issues related to product testing.+ Documents all results performed and send the results by email to the requestor. Responsible to accomplish with the specials testing instructions.+ Notifies the requestor the failures of the product, the equipment unavailability, doubts referred by the required tests. Makes the necessary adjustments to solve issues for limited equipment.+ Provides technical support to Engineering, Quality department in test equipment.+ Makes electrical and mechanical tests according to all international standards.+ Requests fixtures to Maintenance Department as much as needed for testing effect.+ Develops new provider services.#LI-AP01When we embrace the different ideas, perspectives and backgrounds that make each of us unique, we as individuals and as a company are stronger. QualificationsRequired (Basic) Qualifications:+ Mechanic engineerings Degree, Electronics or Electrical.+ Experience in test equipment, as well as production equipment issues.+ Experience in PLC+ Knowledge of LIN and CAN bus Communication Protocols+ Capacity to improve the software and hardware of test equipment.+ Ability to speak both English and Spanish with US technicians to treat and solve issues related to the equipment.#LI-AP01We make what matters work.
