Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead one/more project execution independently with manager doing high level client communication and project planning. Figures out how to build a Solution
- Project documentation
- Design, Build & Deploy Optimized solutions using Big Data Tech Stack
- Mentoring & Grooming Junior Engineers
- Lead and Drive Knowledge sharing sessions within the team
- Own the technical deliveries of the team
- Work with Senior team members to develop new capabilities for the team
- Collaborate with Data Scientists & Data Analysts to work on a solution to address a business problem
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
- Knowledge in Big Data Ecosystem - Hive, Sqoop, Spark (RDD, SQL, Streaming), Kafka
- Knowledge in Programming Languages - Python /Scala/Java
- Knowledge in NO SQL Databases - HBase/MongoDB/Cassandra
- Knowledge in Dimensional Modeling in Big Data environments
- Knowledge in Data Warehousing Design - FACT Tables Design, Snowflake Schema on Big Data Environment
- Knowledge in Unix Shell Scripting
- Knowledge in Configuration Management - GitHub
- Knowledge in Relational Databases - SQL Server/Oracle/Teradata/IBM DB2/MySQL
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with analytical mindset
- Excellent interpersonal and team skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating good level of maturity
- Ability and willingness to learn on the job
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge on Agile/ Scrum
- Knowledge/Experience in building Canonical Data Models
- Knowledge/Experience on Elastic Search
- Knowledge/Experience on Cloud Technologies - Azure/AWS
- Knowledge/Experience with Containerization - Docker, Kubernetes
- Knowledge/Experience using Microsoft Excel, Power Point
