Primary Responsibilities:

  • Development and continual refinement of the strategy around how developers build and deploy cloud applications with as much self-sufficiency as possible
  • Ensure development teams have the tooling and technical Infrastructure required to support rapid feature development
  • Develop and implement DevSecOps strategies for ensuring developers are building features and infrastructure securely and that cloud-hosted assets meet all industry-standard and defined compliance requirements
  • Regularly assess cloud-hosted IaaS resources and determine options and roadmap for conversion to PaaS
  • Provide Technical and Architectural guidance to the development teams in an advisory capacity

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • Overall minimum 8-10 years of IT experience with expertise in designing, developing, deploying enterprise cloud architectures
  • Experience working in Agile (Scrum) model of execution
  • Experience designing well-defined Restful APIs
  • Experience writing API proxies on platforms such as Azure API Gateway
  • Hands-on experience with API tools such as Swagger, Postman
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience working on logging and monitoring tools - Splunk, Dynatrace
  • Knowledge of administration of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.
  • Knowledge of deploying software using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure Devops etc.
  • Knowledge of deploying and maintaining software using public clouds such as Azure
  • Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes, Puppet, Chef or other automated deployment tools
  • Knowledge of Datastores such as CosmosDB, MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, MySQL, Oracle
  • Ability to develop automation for cloud services using Python or Powershell
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
