About the Role: - This summer internship will be exposed to the fast-paced telecommunications industry. - Will discover the various complexities and technologies associated with operating and maintaining a nation-wide network - Will work on a special project for the summer with the Outside Plant Engineering team What You’ll Do: - Specific duties and projects will vary based on departmental needs and intern skill set, but will provide real-world, hands on experience Do You Have? - Analytical thinking, adaptability, problem solving, and decision making skills - Planning and implementation skills with the ability to follow through - Initiative and a desire to innovate - A positive attitude and the ability to work as a part of a team - A conscientious, detail oriented nature Mentorship: - You will have a dedicated mentor within Outside Plant to assist in guiding through daily functions as well as help navigate the working world in a corporate environment
