What you'll be doing
We are seeking an experienced manager to lead our enterprise automation platform infrastructure and tools team. You will be responsible for building a highly motivated and talented team, coaching and mentoring them to deliver high quality products, services and support. In addition, you will partner with business units and IT teams to provide architecture and hyper-automation leadership, guidance and production support.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead the team responsible for building and enabling the systems and tools needed to manage the enterprise robotic process and desktop automation platforms for both unattended and attended robotics.
- Drive the team on building integrations, setting architecture standards and frameworks and building automations for teams not fully able to build such automations.
- Define and create business continuity process, procedures and documentation.
- Set and ensure the team meets all defined SLA's on support and maintenance activities.
- Drive the team to provide the highest level of support and issue resolution.
- Scan the industry for cutting edge solutions in the hyper-automation discovery fields and internalize based on Verizon's needs
- Lead and drive POC efforts to ensure current solutions continue to meet the needs of the business in this ever-evolving emerging technology.
- Drive governance around hyper-automation and ensure proper defined procedures are kept up to date and the team is following them accordingly.
- Continue to drive DevOps and cloud implementations for all current and future platforms.
- Document and comply with software quality, data security and compliance processes.
- Work very closely with the cross-functional teams to understand system and process constraints, improvements, and proactive communication to known issues that may impact customers of the RPA/RDA platform.
- Full Regulatory and Legal compliance across multiple states and markets and compliance with Sarbanes Oxley and internal business controls.
- Perform all security and audit related reviews and document requirements appropriately.
In addition to the above responsibilities, the Manager will also be responsible for managing and developing their team. This includes:
- Provide leadership that promotes teamwork, employee respect, empowerment and open communication.
- Hire, retain and develop high performing motivated talent and leaders both onshore and offshore.
- Manage multi-skilled global contractors and employees.
- Establish individual and team goals aligned with the vision set by Senior Leadership.
You'll need to have:
- Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
- Six or more years of relevant work experience.
Even better if you have one or more of the follow:
- Bachelors or Master's Degree or equivalent work experience. Generally requires minimum of 5+ years of experience in same or related discipline.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Information Systems, or related field.
- 5+ years of technology leadership, including solid understanding of technology selection, architecture, and full stack implementation.
- 3-5+ years of direct people management experience, including leadership of diverse global teams. Experience leading senior talent, mentoring and coaching.
- Required knowledge of hyper-automation technology leveraging UiPath platform solutions.
- Extensive experience in troubleshooting & supporting mission critical 24X7 production systems, lead real-time high stake risk mitigation plan and drive timely decisions.
- Desired knowledge around Decision management systems, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
- Must have demonstrated experience in partnering with Business and IT teams at multiple levels to drive alignment and delivery in order to solve complex problems.
- Ability to identify opportunities, facilitate workout sessions to ideate and come up with joint cross functional solutions
- Strong presentation skills to communicate complex concepts effectively.
- Strong experience in DevOps and Cloud Native technologies.
- Extensive experience in business process transformation and user experience optimization.
- Proven experience leading IT teams through Business Analysis and Project Management.
