Overview

We are excited to bring eager, talented students on board and provide them with an unparalleled co-op experience. The Entegris Campus Program consists of real work experience, cross-functional learning and development opportunities, and a variety of social and volunteering events.

The R&D Engineering Co-Op position will be focused on designing and performing experiments for the Gas Micro-Contamination R&D group. This will be a combination of hands-on lab experience and design experience as well as writing any documentation associated with R&D efforts.

• Design and update fixtures to be used for various testing or experimentation in the lab
• Work hand- on in a lab environment, performing testing and building necessary test stands
• Create all necessary documentation (SOPs, Test Methods) for any new or existing test stands
• Create CAD models and drawings for materials to be made by a machine shop
• Perform experimentation for R&D trials
• Learn to work well on a team
• Improve or establish good time management skills

• Solidworks experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to drive their own project
• Knowledge of basic 3D printing (plastic)
• Would be beneficial to have taken a Materials Science course (if not majoring in it)
• Desired Major: Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science
• Must be enrolled in an undergraduate program with a graduation date of December 2021 or later
