Overview

We are excited to bring eager, talented students on board and provide them with an unparalleled co-op experience. The Entegris Campus Program consists of real work experience, cross-functional learning and development opportunities, and a variety of social and volunteering events.

Our Packaging Engineer co-op position will not only benefit the student in gaining real world work experience, but assist Entegris in developing and implementing creative packaging solutions in a timely manner for our numerous products used in the semiconductor and life science industries at our multiples sites in the U.S. and overseas. We’re looking for assistance in developing protective, cube efficient, ergonomically safe, and cost-effective packaging solutions for Entegris non-saleable and saleable products.



Responsibilities

  • Assist our Packaging Engineering group design and release new packaging concepts for ESB-7, NOWPak, EUV, and Chemline III product lines
  • Gather critical requirements and research packaging product alternatives
  • Problem solve using root cause analysis techniques
  • Test products using various drop/vibration test equipment in accordance to ISTA and ASTM test methods
  • Complete design work using Solid Works
  • Work with vendors when sampling and quoting new packaging concepts
  • Interact cross functionally supporting various packaging materials projects
  • Utilize SAP Enterprise System to create/change bill-of-materials (BOMs), engineering change requests (ECRs) and other engineering documents


Qualifications

  • Strong team, communication and organization skills
  • Flexibility as priorities change often
  • Junior/Senior year in school preferred
  • Must have taken packaging material and package testing/design classes in school
  • Ability to use SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD
  • Desired Major: Packaging Engineering
  • Must be enrolled in an undergraduate program with a graduation date of December 2021 or later
