This position is also responsible for providing inputs to design standards, roadmaps, leads Engineering projects and also leads the team through critical issue resolutions and training. The position will identify technology trends and make recommendations for improvement to the overall system design and support model while expected to work closely with management team. The position must interface globally to support unified communications solutions in follow-the-sun support model. In this role you will:+ Provide input as a subject matter expert and leader to platform and system design, development, and implementation+ Lead overall effort and works with resources across functions to deliver technology, platform, and system solutions to meet customer requirements, providing solution options, making recommendation, and highlighting operational or security risks, as well as providing alternative options+ Define standards for technologies, platforms, and systems to meet customer and operational requirements+ Lead lifecycle management activities for technology, platform, systems, and related documentation to ensure operational health and security. QualificationsBasic Qualifications:+ Bachelors degree from an accredited institution is required.+ Minimum 5 years of experience in IP Technology and related domain+ Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT.+ Must be legally permitted to work in United States without requiring company sponsorship.+ This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.Position Criteria:+ Experience of designing and implementing Cisco Unified Call Manager in a centralized multi-cluster environment including Jabber and Cisco Unity Connections.+ Experience of configuring Inter-Cluster Trunk and SME+ Experience of managing voicemail using Cisco Unity Connections including Call Handler and Auto Attendant configurations.+ Experience of configuring and troubleshooting/debugging different series of Voice Gateways including VXML and virtual Gateways.+ Experience of managing and configuring Cisco Prime for various purposes including provisioning, monitoring and backup.+ Experience of configuring Cisco CUBE for centralized call processing with built-in redundancy.+ Ability to integrate CUCM with Contact Center (UCCE/UCCX)+ Experience of administering and troubleshooting Servers, VM, VXRail, Web Servers, UCS, Storage & Backup, Load-balancing etc.+ Ability to test and deploy Patches, Service Packs, Upgrades, Hot Fixes etc.+ Experience of Microsoft Teams voice and Direct routing+ Experience of integrating multi-vendor voice systems including Microsoft voice, AWS etc.Preferred Qualifications:+ Knowledge of Avaya Communications manager and associated applications.+ Knowledge of Right Fax Enterprise Solutions+ Knowledge of audio/video conferencing+ Knowledge of Cisco Telepresence systems+ Cisco CCIE Certifications a plusEaton provides a competitive total rewards package commensurate with applicable skills, knowledge, and experience and consistent with internal and external market practices.
