In addition to traditional UPSs we develop energy storage and hybrid UPS solutions. The future trend for UPSs is to be a part of the grid and support usage of renewable energy.We are looking for an experienced Application Engineer who will join our R&D organization and will focus on energy storage devices that are used with Eaton UPS's. The focus of the role will mostly be on Lithium Ion batteries.This person will collaborate with external suppliers and Eaton internal stakeholders to enable world class energy storage devices in Eaton UPS and energy storage systems.Your key deliverables:+ Responsible for engineering activities related to using energy storage devices, especially Lithium Ion batteries in products+ Collaborates with Eaton internal stakeholders in new product introduction+ Collaborates with external suppliers of energy storage devices, especially Lithium Ion batteries+ Creates technical tools and documentation for sales teams to select and dimension battery solutions+ Develops battery life cycle modelling for UPS applications together with other teams in Eaton+ Acts ethically and according to Eaton Values and Philosophy following the company rules and policies specifications and designs documents based on customer needs and market requirementsThe role is a fantastic opportunity to work within our World Class organisation at Eaton.
