Additional responsibility includes executingthe organizations strategic plan consistent with federal, state, and localregulations, established industry standards, and customer requirements.Your key deliverables:+ Develops and maintains robust, costefficient Electronic Manufacturing Test processes and product structuresconsistent with lean manufacturing practices and Eatons safety standards+ Assists others in root cause andfailure analysis as required+ Promotes culture of continuousimprovement and Eaton Safety standards+ Participates in concurrentengineering efforts, critical design reviews, Design For Manufacturing andvalue engineering initiatives as growth opportunities+ Influences new product developmentprojects and improve manufacturability+ Develops/validates manufacturingTest processes and tooling to reach project targets in term ofquality/cost/timing+ Defines test impact and workloadcoming from Modification request+ Assists in the composition ofCapital Appropriation Requests for acquisition of equipment to support emergingand existing technologies, for new product introduction or continuousimprovement, as required+ Proposes new Electronic Testtechnologies and standards suitable to Eaton & customers economicenvironmentQualificationsDo you have?+ BSc. Electrical/ElectronicEngineering degree preferable+ Knowledge in ATE (Automatic TestEquipment) software e.g. National InstrumentTestStand, LabVIEW or PowerStar+ Software development experience,programming in C++, Visual Basics etc.+ Knowledge of Power Electronicproduct i.e. High Voltage/Current, Electronic converters+ Familiar with electronicmanufacturing test processes (ICT, FCT, Dielectric, Run-In, Burn-In,) andtechnical specifications to support facilities competencies+ Knowledge of Six Sigma concepts andtools as they relate to minimizing process / product variability+ Working knowledge of engineeringdesign and product reliability concepts+ Proficiency in MS Office suite+ Knowledge of industry and customerspecific quality processes (i.e., ISO9001 etc.)+ Understanding of product and enduser application/specifications, including product testing requirements.(design/process interface)Then we want to hear about you!What Eaton offers:+ Great promotional opportunities Weencourage internal promotion, whenever possible+ Culture & Values We are morethan the products we invent and produce the way we do business is just asimportant.
