Work you'll do

  • Coordinate Systems Engineering activities with project management, project leads and engineers, and functional management.
  • Support the creation of system and subsystem architecture views (functional, physical, power, safety, cybersecurity, etc.).
  • Perform or direct analyses to create and manage requirements, and generate specifications while working closely with internal and external customers, including develop CONOPS and timelines, perform functional decomposition and/or use case analysis, physics-based modeling and simulation,
  • Work closely with design IPTs to manage development of interface control documents and drawings to document the internal and external Interfaces. Support work with the external interface agents to reach consensus on the interface design details.
  • Establish and control baselines implementing configuration management for requirement changes; establish and maintain requirement traceability; decompose, derive and allocate requirements to the architecture; and identify key and major characteristics.

This can include the delivery of large scale software applications & integrated systems, the development of service-oriented architecture (SOA) and other integrations solutions, and the delivery of technology enablement to support CIO services transformation. Our Systems Engineering offering focuses on key client issues that impact the core business, provide operational value, drive down the cost of quality, and enhance technology innovation.

Qualifications




Required:
  • An active secret, Top Secret, or TS/SCI clearance is required to be considered for this role.
  • Bachelor's degree required in engineering or a relevant technical field.
  • At least 15 years of systems architecting, systems engineering, and/or systems integration experience in the federal space.
  • At least two (2) years in a team lead or project lead role.
  • Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, etc.).
  • Experience in software development and/or design.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
  • Travel up to 10%.


Preferred:
  • Prior working experience in the consulting industry is highly desired.
