What you will do

At Stryker, quality is first in everything we do. As part of the Orthopaedic Post Market Surveillance Quality team our Senior Quality Engineers maintain our brand of high-quality products.

In this role, you will:

  • You will work closely with Operations to resolve in-house and supplier quality issues using established methodologies (Root Cause Analysis, Mistake-Proofing etc.)
  • You will actively participate and work with new product development teams to support product and process design and development.
  • You will collaborate on development and improvement of manufacturing process for existing and new products
  • You will interface with suppliers on new process, quality issues and process improvements for assigned projects.
  • You will support and participate in continuous improvement activity and process re-engineering projects in support of Stryker’s Orthopaedic Business Process Excellence initiatives.

What you need

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field of study.
  • 2+ years of experience
  • Prefer CQE certification and Six Sigma Green or Black Belt.
  • Experience in conducting failure investigations, reliability testing, and/or performing failure analysis leading to Root Cause and Corrective Action preferred
  • Demonstrated applied knowledge of Quality tools such as Failure Modes Effect Analysis (FMEA), GD&T, and Mistake Proofing/Poka Yoke preferred
  • Knowledge of FDA QSRs, ISO 13485 Design Control Procedures, and ISO 14971 preferred
