You will apply your technical skills to find the balance between enabling and securing the client's organization with the cognitive solutions that are making IBM the fastest growing enterprise security business in the world.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesAs a Cloud Security Architecture Consultant you will have the opportunity to leverage you deep experience and expertise in hybrid/multi cloud security and compliance architecture in order to help IBM clients secure some of their most complex cloud transformation initiatives. You will use your knowledge, experiences and engagements along with IBM's intellectual capital, market and industry insights, as well as your ongoing research, and will engage clients in security discussions with a "security as a business enabler" focus.Given the diversity of IBM clientele, the ability and willingness to travel are among the essential requirements.Required Technical and Professional Expertise+ Experience designing and implementing secure cloud architectures that meet client business requirements, delivering value and incorporating appropriate and sustainable security controls based on cloud native security services as well as traditional approaches.+ Demonstrable knowledge of the cloud native delivery, security and deployment models for IaaS, PaaS, CaaS offerings provided by at least one of IBM Cloud, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure and/or Google Cloud platforms.+ Working experience with key security controls and capabilities within the aforementioned Cloud Services Provider platforms.+ In-depth understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks including TOGAF and/or SABSA.+ In-depth understanding of relevant security controls and frameworks across CSA, NIST, CIS, NCSC and ISO.+ 3 years of experience as an IT Security Architect with at least 1 year as a Cloud Security Architect.Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise+ Technical knowledge in edge and internal network and landing zone security, server and services hardening, data security solutions (including native encryption and native/multi cloud key management, and activity monitoring), application security solutions (including workload protection across containers and virtual hosts, CASB, and WAF), threat and vulnerability management lifecycle management, identity and access management and governance+ Experience with one or more key security technologies, including Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Network Security, Firewalls, Intrusion Detection / Prevention, Anti-Malware, Email Security, Web Content Filtering, DDoS Protection, Industrial Control Security, Endpoint Detection and Response, Patch management, Deceptive Technologies, Data Loss Protection, Application Security Testing, Identity and Access Management, Governance Risk and ComplianceAbout Business UnitIBM's Cloud and Cognitive software business is committed to bringing the power of IBM's Cloud and Watson/AI technologies to life for our clients and ecosystem partners around the world.
