This position interacts with Local and Global IT, System Admins, System Super Users, QC Management, System End­Users in QC, and Quality Assurance.

The position is located at the Phoenix, Arizona site. The Specialist may also provide support to end-users located at other sites using the CELabs (Labware) and or MODA applications. In limited situations, extended hours and on-call support may be required but will not be a constant requirement.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.o2 years of relevant work experience required, preferably in a regulated industry.

  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support all laboratory e-systems enhancements and maintenance.

  • The Specialist will act as Site Master Data SME:

    • Understands strategy, purpose, and process and advocates for Standardization and Harmonization.

    • Understands and assists in establishing release scope.

    • Gathers documentation for the collection of Master Data using approved template(s).

    • Standardizes and harmonizes master data per standards documented in the MDM Configuration Standards SOP.

    • Answers questions related to site process and data.

    • Consults Site SMEs to provide data and answers to questions.

    • Reviews organized, standardized, and harmonized master data prior to build and provides verification and User Acceptance Testing of completed master data as needed.

    • In addition, the Specialist may support the Site Deployment team with the following duties:

      • Participation in demos and testing of functionalities and workflows.

      • Review and/or execution of user acceptance testing (UAT) protocols.

      • Creation and/or update of local GMP procedures.

      • Change Management Action Owner.

      • Hypercare activities.

  • System Support:

    • Provides first-line operations support to end users.

    • Provides first-line coordination with local IT/tech support and system admins.

    • Assists with errors and solve problems with minimum guidance; performs simple data fixes.

    • Provides expertise in the execution of business processes using e-systems.

    • Provides expertise in the development of system enhancements with user requirements and business drivers.

    • Supports site projects and goals where applicable to streamline testing.

  • Master Data Management:

    • Maintains and updates master data objects.

    • Triages, assesses, aligns, and executes non-configuration related build.

  • Compliance:

    • Performs all activities in compliance to cGMP requirements and applicable standards and procedures.

    • Maintains local e-systems related standards and procedures.

    • Supports change controls for e-systems changes.

    • Supports investigations in case of e-systems related deviations.

    • Participates in inspections by health authorities and in corresponding preparation as Master Data SME.

  • Training:

    • Assists with the implementation and deployment of training to new users and in case of major upgrade.

    • Provides end user training and on-the-job training (OJT) for laboratory and production employees as required.
