The Senior Intake Specialist is primarily responsible to oversee the intake & authorization representatives to ensure all verification of eligibility/benefits, assisting in submission/follow-up of authorization, and data entry into HME/Home Health systems. Serves as the initial client contact to obtain patient demographics, type of referral and type of insurance and ensures information is communicated to pharmacy, clinical team manager, respiratory and home medical equipment personnel. Perform quality assurance on intake and authorizations. Assist in training of new incoming intake, authorization and CSR specialists.
This position will have a rotating monthly schedule of 8-5, 9-6 or 10-7.

- Accredited high school diploma or GED
- 2+ years in an office setting
- 2+ years in customer service
- Supervisory experience
- ICD-10 experience
- Excellent computer skills including the ability to type a minimum of 25 WPM
- Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement of this role. Candidates located in states that mandate COVID-19 booster doses must also comply with those state requirements.
