Key Responsibilities

  • Performs daily data entry to process and verify all electronic and paper training records. Data is entered with a high level of accuracy to meet high quality standards.

  • Communicates any errors on training requests and guides colleagues on resolution.

  • Manages training plans for all site employees.

  • Creates and maintains curricula and training items in the LMS.

  • Administers and troubleshoots the LMS for all users.

  • Ensures accurate deployment of training for all site employees.

  • Uses instructional design principles and adult education concepts to develop materials for a variety of training such as, eLearning, instructor-led, on-the-job, job aides and blended learning.

  • Recognizes and resolves training issues.

  • Follows processes for deviations and corrective actions.

  • Completes action items for change controls related to training.

  • Conducts training impact assessments to identify gaps and ensure accurate training assignments.

  • Verifies and approves the accuracy of training information within the quality systems.

  • Maintains training records for all personnel according to regulatory and document retention requirements.

  • Teaches New Hire Onboarding classes.

  • Supports the Train-the-trainer program.

  • Participates in continuous improvements.

  • Collects data, provides reports, and conducts analysis for training compliance metrics.

  • Supports site inspections and audits for training-related requests.

Working Conditions

  • Work is performed in a typical office environment, with standard office equipment available and used. Work is generally performed seated but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no abnormal conditions caused by noise, dust, etc.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Advanced knowledge of learning management systems.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a reputation for collaboration with all levels of employees.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

  • Excellent writer with technical writing skills.

  • Advanced presentation skills.

  • Decision making, planning, and analysis skills.

  • Time management and administrative skills with keen attention to detail.

  • Ability to perform data entry with a high degree of accuracy.

  • Strong understanding of adult learning theory and instructional design principles for analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of training.

  • Advanced proficiency in using Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat with a high emphasis on Excel.

  • Ability to learn new training technologies and become a subject matter expert.

  • Ability to use instructional design systems to develop, implement, and facilitate training.

Education & Experience

  • Relevant educational experience typically acquired through a Bachelor’s degree in education, science, or related discipline.

  • Minimum of four years of relevant work experience required, preferably in a regulated environment, pharmaceutical, manufacturing and/or quality operations.

  • Minimum of four years of experience in adult learning and content design.

  • Experience using eLearning tools (Articulate 360, Captivate, Adobe Cloud, Articulate, Captivate, Vyond, Powtoons) is a plus.

  • Experience using LMS and other quality systems (ComplianceWire, SuccessFactors, Veeva, ServiceNow) is a plus.

  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute.
