The Associate Employee Installation Specialist will be responsible for the installation of assigned accounts, including, but not limited to: structure building and billing set up, structure revisions, researching and resolving structure issues, database loading, and preparation of plan materials such as administrative documents and customer education materials. This position is also responsible for overall employer contract loading using various databases and/or source documents.
The Associate Employee Installation Specialist position works with the coding team. Their typical day consists of meeting with claim to review benefits, entering codes, troubleshooting system for things not processing properly, and adjudication claims. The Specialist will also train with the quality review team to give them an opportunity to learn the coding in the CPS system for medical, dental, and vision. There are also required to attend team meetings as needed.
This position is full - time (40 hours / week), Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.
We offer 4 - 6 weeks of training. Training will be conducted virtually from your home.

- Auditing contract loads for adherence to quality measures and reporting standards
- Researching errors by comparing Account Management documentation against multiple internal systems
- Analytical and Researching techniques to trend or quantify projects
- Preparing, processing, and maintaining new group installation and renewals
- Responding to member eligibility or group questions and verify enrollment status
- Reconciling reports and group set up discrepancies, as well as analyzing transactional data and submitting retroactive eligibility changes
- Research and respond to all claims processing inquiries from Client Management, Clinical, and other internal departments
- Perform claim testing to ensure accurate claim adjudication
- Conduct installation of assigned accounts, including, but not limited to: structure building and billing set up, structure revisions, researching and resolving structure issues, database loading, and preparation of plan materials such as administrative documents and customer education material
- Overall employer contract loading using various databases and/or source documents. May research installation issues & develop customer specific resolutions which may include auditing contract loads for adherence to quality measures and reporting standards
- Perform other duties as assigned

- High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
- 1+ years of experience in a healthcare insurance environment using the telephone and computer as the primary instruments to perform job duties
- 1+ years of previous OR current claims experience
- Proficiency with computer and Windows PC applications
- Intermediate level of skill in Microsoft Excel (i.e. creating spreadsheets, v-lookups, pivot tables, etc.)
- Data Entry experience (ability to type at the speed of 45+ words per minute / WPM)
- Ability to work any 8-hour shift between the hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM from Monday - Friday including the flexibility to work occasional overtime and weekends based on business need
- Associate’s Degree (or higher)
- 1+ years of previous OR current UMR Claims Processing System experience
- Quality assurance experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word (create, edit, format, and save documents), Microsoft PowerPoint (create, edit, format, and save presentations), and Microsoft Access (create, edit, format, and manipulate databases)
- Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
- Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
- Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service
- Ability to be flexible and work in a constantly changing environment
- Self - directed and the ability to prioritize caseloads based on business and customer need

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $17.12 - $30.34. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $18.80 - $33.41.
