Serve as a member of the clinical team for Deployment Health Assessments during call center screening events. Assess Service member’s DD Form responses and conduct assessment interviews to determine a Service member’s current state of mental health. Educate Service members on behavioral health treatment options and resources available within their military benefits.

- Document assessments appropriately per Service Component guidance
- Manage behavioral health emergencies as situations arise
- Interact with Service members
- Work closely with Health Care Provider Team to manage emergent situations

- Master’s degree
- Active professional mental health license and licensed to practice independently in your state of residency
- Demonstrated intermediate computer knowledge and skills
- Ability to occasionally work in a heavy call volume
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
- Proven ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing situations
- Proven solid interpersonal skills
- Trauma certification
- Experience with identification, diagnosis or treatment of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
- Demonstrated knowledge of Military procedures and protocols, databases, and acronyms

As a requirement of UnitedHealth Group's contract with the Department of Defense, this position requires U.S. citizenship and proof of favorable adjudication following submission of Department of Defense eQuip Form SF86, (the National Agency Check Legal and Credit or NACLC). Successful completion of the NACLC process is a requirement for continued employment in this role. NACLC processing will be initiated by our TRICARE Security Officer post-offer and can take 3-6 months for a final decision communication from the Department of Defense. Candidates will be allowed to begin employment with UnitedHealth Group in this role based on an interim clearance, and final results will be communicated as they are received. Failure to obtain final NACLC approval will result in termination from this role.

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The hourly range for Colorado residents is $26.15 to $46.63. The hourly range for Connecticut/Nevada residents is $28.85 to $51.30.
