Human Health (HH) is comprised of our company’s commercial and marketing organizations responsible for our HH prescription medicines and vaccines. We are seeking Master in Business Administration (MBA) Candidates who have a commitment to improving health care and are interested in working at one of the world’s leading biopharmaceutical companies. The position of a senior specialist in Human Health, requires that you have outstanding proficiency in many different areas including project management, productive communication, execution excellence and cross functional collaboration.

We currently have Senior Specialist roles for graduating MBA candidates in brand marketing and market research within Oncology, Vaccines, Pharmaceutical Medicine and Global Pharmaceuticals, Analytics & Digital Marketing.

A Senior Specialist in our commercial organization should be able to execute various duties and responsibilities such as:

  • Applying knowledge of internal/external challenges and market insights to improve product marketing offerings

  • Solving complex problems in assigned area

  • Supporting development and execution of digital strategies

  • Interpreting customer needs and insights, assessing requirements, and identifying solutions

  • Discover effective marketing and promotional channels

  • Promoting teamwork and open discussion of issues

  • Operational contributions to assigned area including strategic marketing, brand management, and communications management

  • Financial planning and management activities such as budget management, forecasting, and business case development

  • Collaborate with key team members to develop long range plans, brand strategic plans, and/or business performance reviews, to inform internal and external stakeholders and communications

  • Working independently with minimal guidance

  • Promoting teamwork and open discussion of issues

Required Education and Experience:

  • Candidates must hold a Master in Business Administration degree prior to or by May 2023

  • Candidates must have a marketing or healthcare concentration

  • Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of professional work/internship experience

  • Candidates must show intellectual curiosity

  • Candidates must have excellent presentation and interpersonal communications skills

  • Candidates must have the ability to take initiative, responsibility and demonstrate results-oriented project management

  • Candidates must have the ability to influence in the absence of organizational authority

  • Candidates must be able to interpret information clearly and communicate results effectively

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Candidates should have digital or customer engagement experience

  • Candidates should have prior business analytics experience

  • Candidates should have experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech or other related regulated industries

Under New York City law, the Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate’s relevant skills, experience, and education. Expected salary range: $96,700 - $164,500.

For positions located in the United States and Puerto Rico – Subject to applicable law, all new hires (including internal transfers) must demonstrate that they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or that they qualify for a medical or religious exemption to this vaccination requirement.
