Position Description:

An opportunity exists within the Above Market Sustainment team within the Global Controller’s area. As part of this role, the candidate will use their accounting/finance knowledge to gain a greater understanding of the end-to-end Accounting to Reporting Process, Financial Planning Process, as well as an understanding of Finance Master Data and Financial Reporting, both Internal and External.

The candidate will gain exposure to and work closely with other teams within the Global Controller’s group as well as each of the financial areas that support the operating divisions, Tax and Treasury. They will use such tools as Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Service (FCCS), Data Management (DM), Financial Tool Kit (FTK), BRIDGES/PLANIT (BPC), Financial Sharing Area (FSA), Analysis for Office (A4O), SmartView, PowerBI and Robotics. The position will help support the monthly close process, legal entity integrations and TRAIN initiatives, learn about master data (Chart of Accounts, Legal Entities, Organizations, Products, etc.), business logic and financial reporting and become an expert in how our financial systems support Finance processes.

Responsibilities will also include the support of the Actuals Reporting Support and/or BRIDGES support mailboxes and assisting with issue resolution and provisioning users across all our financial systems. The position will also support managing the critical system change control process, to ensure overall SOX and audit compliance.

Through these activities they will have the opportunity to gain key knowledge that will greatly assist them for future finance roles. The Above Market Sustainment group will be located in Rahyway, NJ, however, this position is not limited to the US and applicants from other countries will be accepted and encouraged.

Job Scope and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the sustainment of the above market financial suite of tools. Through interactions with the broader Finance and the IT, provide insight and ensure that the solution design continues to meet all accounting, reporting and financial control requirements.
  • Gain a broader understanding of the end-to-end Financial Processes and assist with the resolution of issues and implementation of changes.
  • Develop in depth relationships with the finance organization and become a significant contributor to the finance organization’s goals of business process improvement.
  • Train and develop users on Above Market processes. Lead and coach others, and lead projects and initiatives as needed. Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills are a must.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to effectively resolve issues and implement solutions are also critical.

Position Qualifications:

Education Minimum Requirement:

  • BS in Accounting or Finance with MBA or CPA preferred.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Two years relevant business experience, with some exposure to process/systems implementations,

  • financial consolidation or financial reporting and planning.

  • Strong skills, aptitude and experience with financial reporting software tools.
