Responsibilities

Marketing has an in-house creative agency with substantial on-site video production facilities in each of our four primary locations. Our teams have been serving the video production needs of State Farm for over 50 years. By working for a Fortune 50 Company with an award winning in-house creative agency, an individual in this role can expect to work with a cross-disciplinary team on a wide variety of internal and consumer-facing creative assignments to support our well-known and trusted brand.

Responsibilities:

  • Operates video and audio equipment in the studio and on location
  • Uses software/equipment to edit audio and video media
  • Provides creative decisions for successful completion of projects
  • Consults, coordinates and executes the development and delivery of video and audio communications
  • Identifies and resolves production or project issues and problems
  • Manages multiple projects and works efficiently with tight deadlines
  • Leads projects when assigned
  • Possesses leadership, communication, organization and interpersonal skills
  • Works directly with senior leadership
  • Assists with detail-oriented tasks associated with video, photo, and other Marketing units' production needs as required
  • Ensures company and industry standards and policies are followed

Qualifications

Must Have Skills/Technologies:
  • Demonstrated experience shooting video footage with DSLR and/or cinema camera platforms
  • Experience with industry-standard editing platforms, like Adobe Premiere, Avid Media Composer, Apple Final Cut Pro
  • Hands-on experience with current video lighting and grip gear

Preferred Technical Skills:
  • Understanding of color temperature, waveform monitors and vectorscopes for the capture and production of video content
  • Knowledge of studio and field audio recording equipment and techniques
  • Experience with video prompter systems a plus
  • Knowledge of tools and techniques to support live broadcasts and events a plus
  • Experience shooting still photography a plus

Preferred/Desired Experience
  • 5+ years of video production experience

*A portfolio of work demonstrating your video production and/or multi-deliverable production experience will be required
