This is RiverTech.The Site Security Specialist (SSS) I assists and supports the PM/DPM/PMO in the management and administration of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Stennis Space Center (SSC) Protective Services Contract (PSC)at NASA Stennis Space Center, Hancock County, MS. The SSS I reports directly to the Badge Supervisor.**Responsibilities:**+ Verifies validity of required identification to provide access in support of NASA SSC mission and in support of NASA SSC Personnel Security Specialist and SSC Office of Protective Services.+ Supports the NASA SSC Personnel Security Support Specialist (PSSS) ensuring required registration of visitor badges, permanent badging and fingerprinting are completed in a timely manner.+ Performs database inputs and queries, and continuously updates Government Systems including idMAX, SBS, LENEL and others; tracking, verifying and logging visitors information in accordance with NASA policies.+ Processes test complex and visitor badges for all special events on time or ahead schedule and all other assigned duties.+ Ensures compliance with all applicable training standards, certification, recording, and reporting requirements; providesrecurring and non-recurring management reports, and maintains complete training records.**Qualifications****Minimum Qualifications:**+ High School Diploma or equivalent+ Minimum one-year related work experience preferred+ Military security experience an asset+ Ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearance+ Experience issuing PIV (Personal Identity Verification) cards using the Credential Management System+ Experience tracking and recording badges for visitors and customers at a government facility+ Excellent typing computer skillsThe duties and responsibilities listed in this job description generally cover the nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position.
