Our business helps support their way of life and contributes to the survival of a culture that has thrived in a challenging environment.**Job Summary:**As the Computer Systems Support Specialist, you will serve as the senior IT specialist and consultant to management in support of telecommunications system plans, policies, procedures, requirements and implementations.**Responsibilities:**+ Prepares documents and briefs management on specifics of requirements both hardware and software and outlines procedures to obtain and organize enhancements.+ Serves as a project advisor responsible for the successful implementation of various communications programs/projects.+ Specialist will work closely with the AFSOC/A2 IT Communications Systems Engineer/Architect.**Qualifications****Minimum Qualifications:**+ Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology or a related field is highly preferred.+ Minimum 10 years working computer support related issues out of the last 12 years.+ Minimum, 5 years of hands-on experience performing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software required for MS and LINUX operations systems.+ 5 years hands-on network; systems administration experience - with industry standard core services and infrastructure (ITIL).+ 2 years of experience, with the past 3 years, with Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft Active Directory, VMWare, Linux server software and knowledge of network storage.+ Knowledge of DoD information assurance, policy, and regulatory requirements.+ Knowledge of and experience in Local Area Network (LAN) design, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and sustainment.+ Knowledge of Special Operations and SOCOM systems and networks.+ Expertise required in Cloud Applications & Infrastructure such as Amazon Web Services, Azure, Google Cloud; Windows 10; Windows Server 20XX; Linux (Red Hat, KALI), mobile; next generation firewalls and web application firewalls, network hardware, virtual machines and environments, network monitoring tools and automation tools.+ Proficiency in administering and deploying geospatial applications and intelligence related automation to support analytical efforts and product development.+ Proficiency in administering and deploying enterprise level open source and commercial off the shelf (COTS) server equipment in support of intelligence organizations.*** Active Top Secret with SCI access is required for consideration.****** This position is contingent upon contract award***The duties and responsibilities listed in this job description generally cover the nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position.
