Our business helps support their way of life and contributes to the survival of a culture that has thrived in a challenging environment.**Job Description:**RiverTech LLC, is seeking a Quality Control Specialist (QCS) responsible for inspecting contract development products against a quality standard as part of a training product development team. The QCS is a core member of the development team, working directly with the Director of Quality Control, Project Manager (PM), Instructional Systems Designers (ISD), Computer-Based Training Specialists (CBTS), and Graphic Artists (GA) to design and develop instructionally sound training products for Advanced Helicopter Training System (AHTS) in accordance with contractual requirements.Suitable candidates for this position should have an excellent command of written English in addition to experience in critically analyzing, researching, writing, and synthesizing materials. Candidates must be comfortable working in a team environment and possess excellent communication skills. Previous experience with the Department of Defense (DoD) is desired.This Jacksonville, FL opportunity requires full-time support.**Specific Duties/Job Requirements:**+ Inspect training products via a variety of mediums (e.g., Word; Excel; PowerPoint; authoring tools such as Captivate or Articulate Storyline; and Learning Management Systems [LMS] and Content Management Systems [CMS])+ Document errors and assign error codes for future tracking+ Implement changes based on internal (peer review) and external (customer) feedback+ Compile and organize feedback data with accuracy+ Work with established templates and develop new templates+ Prevent future errors through participation in team training+ Establish and adhere to best practices documented in Style Guides, Job Aids, and other guidelines+ Work within deadlines+ Demonstrate excellent and consistent attention to detail+ Other duties as assigned**Qualifications****Minimum Qualifications:**+ Must have a Bachelors degree in English or related field+ Must have a Quality Control background in the development of training products+ Must be proficiency with MS Office and Adobe products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Acrobat)+ Must have excellent written/grammar skills+ Must have effective communication skills**Preferred Experience/Education:**+ Experience with US Navy training standards and Instructional Design processes or prior experience on a DOD courseware development teamThe duties and responsibilities listed in this job description generally cover the nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position.
