Employees are immersed in a culture of learning and constant growth.+ Investment in key partnership with universities, government and private sector groups which has resulted in IBM having a key influencing role in Nova Scotia's ICT industry, especially in talent development.Your Role and Responsibilities :+ Developer primary skill set (with a desire to develop automation)+ Jython, Java, API's, ANT (though this could be learned quite easily by a capable developer), whatever they can bring, really (Ruby exp. would be a bonus for systems automation)+ Experience with CI/CD platforms like Jenkins+ Familiar with DevOps and Docker+ Willingness to learn RTC and its administration (with the idea that they would become our Build / Deployment and Automation architect, so there is big opportunity for advancement in this position)+ Either prior exp. in, or willingness to learn WebSphere and wsadmin (scripting), since this is more or less required to work with our deployment scripts+ Basic Linux / UNIX skills and wants to learn more+ Work location is Bedford Nova Scotia+ Must have or eligible for Enhanced Reliability Security statusRequired Technical and Professional Expertise+ Experience with CI/CD platforms like Jenkins+ Familiar with DevOps and Docker+ Strong analytical skills, focus on problem determination+ Drive to succeed and desire to develop knowledge of working IT systems.Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise+ Must have or eligible for Enhanced Reliability Security statusAbout Business UnitIBM Services is a team of business, strategy and technology consultants that design, build, and run foundational systems and services that is the backbone of the world's economy.
