IT Infrastructure Specialist

Our Infrastructure Specialists are responsible for keeping up with these latest and greatest of these changes and using their expertise to deliver solutions that meet the needs of our customers and products.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesCandidate will be responsible for supporting critical IT infrastructure for IBM Storage Development.Duties include:Install, configure and maintain datacenter technologies such as physical servers, SANs, Switches, Routers.Support and monitor Openstack/Ceph environment.Support and monitor DHCP, DNS, NSF and Active directory environments.Responsible for all aspects of the infrastructure storage environment.Support development efforts related to infrastructure and the business.Document networking and server hardware, procedures, implementations, and problem logs.Responsible for the backup environment for all infrastructure.Assist in IT infrastructure security and compliance.Help to resolve support issues within the team.Install, configure, and manage IT infrastructure hardware and Troubleshoot issues.Additional duties may be required.Required Technical and Professional Expertise+ Expertise in Networking, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, OpenStack, Linux.+ Experience in SANs, data security and backup strategies, disaster recovery plan and other network related hardware/software.+ Ability to work independently in the absence of supervision or as part of a team+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.+ Strong troubleshooting skills for solving problems accurately and quickly for resolution.+ Must be able to respond to on-call and emergency afterhours events.Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise+ Experience managing and monitoring Ceph Storage Platform+ Cisco CCNA Certification+ Experience with IBM Spectrum Load Sharing Facility (LSF)+ NoneAbout Business UnitIBM Systems helps IT leaders think differently about their infrastructure.
