We look for people who have a safety-first mindset, who are collaborative team players, who deliver on their commitments, who are innovators in search of a better way, and who believe in inclusion.Working at Nutrien will provide you an opportunity to help us _Feed the Future,_ and grow your career.This position is located in Redwater, Alberta, Canada and is available for remote work.**What you will do:**+ Ensure established robust controls, (i.e. WBS, EVMs, KPIs, Variance Analyses, Project Controls plan, Processes, Procedure, Change Management Procedures and Reports, Procurement & Contracts administration, Cost / Schedule Forecasts and other deliverables are consistent within Nutrien projects)+ Steward the continuous improvements of Redwater project control systems and tools+ Analysis and development of the project controls to support the Redwater Capital Plan, with an average of $100 MM annual Capital expenditures+ Ensure that the schedule and cost reporting is accurate and consistent with the stated objectives, ensure effective project controls systems are in place and being adhered to+ Maintain Redwater capital portfolio cost reports, forecast, variance analysis+ Maintain scaffold tracking and rental equipment tracking for the Redwater Capital team, analysis of labour logs and reporting+ Support monthly Capital forecasting to ensure accurate annual forecasts, including cost contingency management+ Review and analyze robust project roadmap, scope, control plans, execution strategy, master and detailed schedules (levels I, II, III, and IV), milestones following WBS/CBS, and other key deliverables necessary to enable the successful achievement of all targets within cost, timeline and quality requirements+ Ensure alignment of overall project schedule with cost forecast+ Lead and understand project change management processes and procedures (RFIs, Change Requests and Change Orders)+ Collaborate and integrate with procurement teams to ensure contract executing strategy is within compliance with the provided estimates+ Administer and make recommendations for resolution of issues to meet project objectives where contracting strategy effects overall project cost+ Actively participate and support invoice attestation+ Monitor PO balances for equipment and scaffold rentals+ Serve as a trusted resource for a broad assortment of project stakeholders+ Guide and support Site Project Management / PMO personnel as required, and ensure teams are equipped with the resources and knowledge necessary to fulfil the completion of their deliverables**What you will bring:**+ Engineering Degree, Business Degree, Technologist Diploma or Journeyman Trade Ticket with 10+ years experience+ AACE certifications, PMP are an asset+ Knowledge of SAP, Power BI, Excel and P6 Primavera+ Financial acumen to understand budgets, forecasts and actual spend+ Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and prioritize workload, very self-motivated+ Detail orientated and strong organization and time management skills+ Excellent interpersonal, conflict resolution, negotiation communication and team skills with sound business judgment+ A demonstrable record of effective decision-making capabilities together with strong leadership through influence+ First rate analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving skills+ Excellent strategic planning and critical thinking skills+ Continuous improvement mindset, ability to identify and execute on business process improvements**Are you a good match?
