As a part of this team, you will have the unique opportunity to be a part of driving IBM's ongoing transformation as a company that continuously innovates and leads the market.Your Role and Responsibilities'- Responsible for planning and supporting integration and implementation activities for global inorganic activity ranging from partnerships to investments to acquisitions. This role will be key in incorporating best practices and lessons learned into transactions on a real time basis, across the IBM Services portfolio.- Act as a trusted advisor to the most senior members of the IBM Services organization with respect to inorganic activity, providing specific guidance around integration and implementaton approaches for both prospective and completed transactions.- Support transaction teams throughout the due diligence, integration, and/or implementation phases of acquisitions, investments and/or partnerships, working closely with members of IBM Services, Corporate Development, and Corporate Shared services teams.- Support the development of executive-level analysis, briefings, & reports for and to senior IBM leadership- Periodic travel, up to 25% annuallyRequired Technical and Professional Expertise- 5-10+ years of corporate development, management consulting, or other strategy experience with emphasis on post transaction activities (i.e. M&A integration, implementing partnerships, etc)- Strategic thinker, supported by deep analytical capabilities and data driven approach- Experience working across multiple project timelines with extended cross functional teams- Strong executive presence as well as interpersonal and written communication skills, delivering at the executive level- MBA or comparable experience- Strong Powerpoint skillsPreferred Technical and Professional Expertise- Experience with mergers, acquisitions, or other equity related transactionsAbout Business UnitIBM Services is a team of business, strategy and technology consultants that design, build, and run foundational systems and services that is the backbone of the world's economy.
