If so, lets talk.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesThe L2 Network Specialist is responsible for the support and maintenance of network devices. Support includes troubleshooting and resolving incidents and problems. It also includes completing service requests and scheduled changes. Maintenance includes regular upgrades and patching as well as compliance tasks.The role provides second level support for installation and operation of network environment and is a subject matter expert for the tools used to support the day to day activities on the network.The Network Specialist provides on call support and helps to ensure peak network support and performance.Works with other network support specialists on the team, account support people, other IBM support people, as well as the customer.Fast paced environment with exposure to different and newer network technologies.GTSCA2021Required Technical and Professional Expertise+ Bilingual in English and French.+ CCNA or equivalent experience.+ 5 years minimum experience supporting network devices.+ Cisco routing and switching, Cisco ASA. Cisco ACI.+ Leadership qualities.+ Government of Canada Security clearance Level 2 -Secret.Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise+ CCNP or CCIE preferred.
