Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Senior Solution Specialist in Lake Mary, Florida and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You'll Do

Designing, implementing, and operating solutions for custom-developed systems, platform integration, and application modernization to enable core business capabilities. directing large technology engagements and participating in projects including ideation, identification, planning and cost estimation through requirements, design, development, testing, implementation and production. Performing assessments of existing information systems, and identifying gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities. Estimating time and resources needed for the development work. Functioning as integrators between business needs and technology solutions, helping to create technology solutions to meet clients business needs. Defining systems strategy, developing system requirements, processing design, prototyping, and testing custom technology solutions, and supporting system implementation. creating test cases and performing functional, non-functional, system integration, black-box, white-box, and end-to-end testing of software applications. creating project charters, schedules, and plans, defining project tasks, allocating resources and monitoring project progress. Researching user reported issues, identifying root causes and resolutions, implementing fixes, and liaising between business functions, end users, and technical delivery teams. Creating technical and functional specifications, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, process models, and pseudo code, to be used for application development. Writing functional and technical system requirements and use cases, creating process flow diagrams and finalizing system requirements. Performing conceptual and technical designs, including the use of object-oriented analysis and design techniques. tracking application defects using defect tracking tools, coordinating defect resolution efforts, and documenting resolution details. Working across all phases of the agile and waterfall software development lifecycle for the design, development, testing and implementation of web-based and mobile based solutions for enterprise-level clients. Analyzing and documenting current-state systems and processes to support project design of to-be systems and processes using Microsoft office, Sharepoint, and eRoom. Interfacing directly with client stakeholders to review functional and technical requirements, analyzing client requirements, and translating requirements into test cases to deliver defect free solutions that satisfy client needs. Using Software Testing Lifecycle methodology to lead test strategy, test plan, test case reviews, defect management, and testing approval phases. Tracking risks and issues, and reporting on project and milestone deliverable status to ensure timely project delivery and communication of updates to internal and external stakeholders using HP ALM and Microsoft Project Plan. Coordinating the project responsibilities of cross-functional onshore and offshore testing teams to ensure efficient completion of project tasks. Using HP ALM, Rational Clear Quest, JIRA, And SOAP UI Pro tools to perform and oversee the following types of testing to ensure successful implementation of project solutions: System Integration, Regression, User Acceptance, and Business Validation. Supporting business development activities, including proposal development and responses to Request for Proposals.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any stem degree or a related field. Must have two (2) years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Candidate must also have two (2) years of related work experience involving each of the following:
  • Working across all phases of the agile and waterfall software development lifecycle for the design, development, testing and implementation of web-based and mobile based solutions for enterprise-level clients;
  • Analyzing and documenting current-state systems and processes to support project design of to-be systems and processes using Microsoft office, Sharepoint, and eRoom;
