Lead Outreach Specialist, University Relations (Remote)
We are seeking a Lead Outreach Specialist, University Relations to revolutionize and optimize our virtual and in-person campus recruiting channels and create standards to drive our operations to new levels.

What You Will Do:
- Lead our virtual student outreach initiatives, including the use of our strategic sourcing technology to campaign jobs and events to build well-qualified and diverse talent pipelines for our intern and rotational programs.
- Plan and execute a virtual and on-campus event strategy, and partner with recruiting team to ensure execution and ROI from events.
- Leverage our technology platforms to keep active candidates and future talent pools engaged and interested in employment with Stryker.
- Develop standards for our university outreach and student programs, including our engagement model for our target universities, strategies for early identification of talent, keep warm campaigns, intern program strategy, etc.
- Maintain data reports and performance metrics to determine ROI of events and outreach strategy.
- Partner with recruitment marketing to develop, enhance and align messaging for campaigns, events, collateral, and keep warm campaigns.
- Partner with the recruiters to uncover well-qualified, diverse talent for niche and/or hard to fill roles.
- Be the primary recruiting contact for select academic affiliates, including contacts at career services, student/diversity organizations, academic faculty, candidates, and other appropriate groups at universities.
- Partner with Diversity Recruiting to align outreach strategies with greater DEI initiatives.
- Provide expertise on recruiting students including knowledge of various university programs, activities, important dates, student organizations, university hiring policies, etc.
- Gather competitive intelligence on other employers recruiting on-campus and develop strategies on competing effectively for the top students.
- Maintain giveaway/collateral inventory for US; support collateral shipments to locations as needed.
What You Need:
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Human Resources, Business, Marketing or a similar field.
- 5+ years of work experience; 2+ years in a recruitment function.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills including strong presentation skills and phone presence.
- Experience using an applicant tracking system or CRM, (Workday and/or Smashfly preferred)
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (powerpoint, excel, word).
- Significant experience managing projects to successful completion.
- Ability to travel during peak recruitment seasons and willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
Preferred Experience:
- Prior experience working on a university recruiting team.
- Prior experience using a sourcing platform specific to early talent (WayUp preferred)
- Experience preparing for and attending recruiting events and/or conferences.
- Pre-established university contacts.
- Demonstrated results from innovative recruitment strategies. (DEI strategies are a plus)
- Strong connection to, and understanding of, Gen Z and what motivates them.
